This was my first time in St. Louis and my colleague who resides in the area knows I love cupcakes and told me that he had to take me to Jilly's Cupcake Bar & Cafe. He told me that they have the best cupcakes. Other patrons inside shared that they won Cupcake Wars. I was excited to try a cupcake. There were so many to choose from so it was hard making up my mind which is a good problem to have. One of the employees helped me narrow things down and I landed on the Mocha Almond Fudge cupcake. It was a different style of cupcake. The cupcake had a whipped filling (I don't really like filling but I still had to try it). I mostly loved the toppings in the outer layer of frosting. I love coffee and chocolate so I was happy with my selection. Glad that I was able to stop by a local favorite.
Amazing cupcakes! The price is worth the value. Cupcakes are large enough to share. Right off the highway and easy to get to.
This made the best little final stop on our girls trip to St. Louis! The variety of cupcakes to choose from was amazing. They also have hard scoop ice cream to go along with it. The staff was great they even got me a glass of milk to go with my cupcake.!!
I'm super sad to see that Jillys has 3.6 star reviews! We've been coming here for the last 15 almost 16 years and have once to have a bad experience. Jillys and her staff are so nice. I had my daughters 16th birthday cake made here in the strawberry milk shake flavor and it was sooo good! It tasted so fresh and was absolutely stunning! Not to mention their cupcakes are out of this world! And they're 3 time winners on food networks cupcake wars
Tried: Gooey butter Kaboom cupcake, Milkshake cupcake Loved: uniqueness of cupcakes and the amount of options - there are tons to try! The flavor of the confetti milkshake cupcake and the cute details on the cupcake with the chocolate straw and mini cupcake Liked: the Gooey butter cupcake. Not the gooey-est, but good overall Didn't like: the insane sugar high that comes with eating Jilly's - it's sugar overload!
Still love Jilly's just as much (the biscoff cupcake is my new favorite!) and my friends were so impressed with my birthday cake they're beginning to order from here too! Here's the cake my friend has now requested two years in a row (and now I at least have an annual gift to get her).

The cupcakes were absolutely delicious and were ready to go and perfectly packaged for pick up. The service I received was also top-notch and I really appreciated the attention to detail that was put into my order. If you happen to wander into Jilly's without a specific order in mind, fear not!
